Anti-Human Trafficking
Aims and Objectives
- To provide an introduction to the extent of the global crime of human trafficking, and its complex and numerous challenges.
- To promote an awareness of the measures needed to identify and protect victims.
- To provide police officers with basic tools to identify and prosecute offenders.
- To demonstrate the arrangements currently in place at national and international levels to reduce the opportunities for criminals to engage in human trafficking.
- To explain the anti-human trafficking arrangements within the UAE and the role of the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking – set up by UAE Cabinet Order in 2007 to strengthen Federal Law 51,2006.
