Introduction to SMS
The Introduction to SMS is an entry level course expected to provide the learners with essential awareness and knowledge about safety management systems pertinent to aviation and its implementation. The 5 day course is a well-balanced mix of theoretical and practical training and aims to impart learners with a wide-ranging knowledge about SMS, history of SMS and its evolution, ICAO regulations, SMS components and responsibilities, SMS levels and implementation, gap analysis, hazard identification, risk assessment and controls.
The teaching method blends and couples classroom lectures with interactive multimedia lessons, group activities and projects.

On Site and Off Site (UAE and GCC)
Course Prerequisite(s):
To undertake this programme, learners would require a minimum English proficiency of Intermediate level.
